Looking upon our loved ones throughout our day reminds us what we have, and have had, to be grateful for in our lives.  Our family, husbands, wives, children, dogs, cats and other pets bring joy to us in our lifetime.

My name is Nick, and I thank you for your visit. I am a Bay Area native and artist. I am so happy to report that I am offering this new pet portrait service, as I have found my niche, finally, in painting fine art portraits of animals and people. Until very recently,  I struggled for years to find fulfillment in my former position, etching and hand- painting wine bottles in the Napa Valley, California Area. It has become apparent that I am happier and more productive working on canvas and paper, with pets and people as my focus.

I enjoy painting works that are intended for the walls of individuals and families who wish to look upon the faces of their loved companions for decades to come. Pet portraits and fine art are now my business path and creative concentration.

My artistic experimentation over the years has led me to try many varied styles and studies in portraiture, digital art, and various other mediums as are shown in the galleries listed above.  For portraits, I use oils and/or oil enamels on canvas for strong color and durable longevity, that will preserve your portrait or pet portrait for current and future family generations to come.

As my body of work grows in number with additions of pet and people portraits, I will include them here. Local American Canyon, Calistoga, Napa, St. Helena and Yountville area pet or personal portraits can be commissioned, painted, paid for and delivered in person. Payments for paintings for clients from out of the area, including the San Francisco Bay metro area, are sent to me through PayPal.
